Nope, it isn't possible!!!

How can my itty bitty be 11 months old already??  I feel like I just brought her home last month and now she's walking and talking and growing and changing by the minute!!  I don't care how much you might think you know about what it is going to be like to have kids or what parenting will be like...(I thought I had a really good idea about all that)...it's nothing like you ever expected!  It's WAAAAAAAY more amazing and life-changing than anything you could ever dream!  It's an unimaginable connection to another human being, deeper than any connection you have ever had.  To all those new mommies out there, expectant mommies, and hopeful future mommies....make sure you do plenty of cardio exercise now because your heart will be put to the test with your baby.  You'll think it's going to explode when you look into that little face because the joy is so overwhelming.  And just when you think you can't possibly fit any more love in your heart because it's so full already....a whole new space opens up and that little baby will fill every bit of it with love you never knew was possible.  Everything that was so urgent and important before will seem suddenly less pressing as your world starts turning around this tiny, brand new person.  Every thought in your brain, no matter what the topic, will have a little bit (or a lot) of baby in it.  And you won't even mind that you can't concentrate when he/she is in the room because there is nothing you'd rather focus on anyway.  All of life's "little things" finally become little and your perspective on life and love and the world is completely changed.

To my sweet little Olivia....your birthday next month will mark one year from the moment that I first looked into your eyes, held your tiny hands, counted your sweet little toes, kissed your wrinkled forehead, and fell head over heels in love with you.  You are one of God's most perfect miracles for sure, delivered directly from an angel.  Mommy loves you so much more than you will ever know.
