Cortney's Senior Session

Today's session was a first for sure.  From time to time I work with people that are quiet or shy and that is perfectly okay.  But Cortney barely spoke at all....not because she was too shy, but because the poor gal has laryngitis and has pretty much no voice left at all!!  But luckily her mom came along and helped do some of the talking for her, so we managed just fine.  :)  What a sweet mother & daughter team they are, too!  I hope Cortney's voice is back soon so I can hear what she thinks of her portraits!  :)

Oh Baby!! :)

So I recently picked up a few items to make my baby portraits even cuter and more colorful.  And of course, I had to have my niece do a little modeling for me.  She didn't last too long before she got a little cranky, but it doesn't take very long to get a gorgeous shot of her.

More to come when this sweet little model is feeling happy!  :)

Nicole's Senior Session

What a gorgeous day for a portrait session!!  Nicole definitely got lucky with the weather....sunny and almost 70 degrees!  And not only was the day perfect, but Nicole was also very photogenic and really easy to work with.  What a fun, laid back gal!  I am seriously spoiled when it comes to my Seniors!!  I only get the best ones!!

Dane's Senior Session

Ah, Fall....if only all that beautiful color would last longer!!!  Today I had a really fun session (in the rain) with Dane and his mom.  They wanted something different and definitely wanted to get some of those gorgeous Fall leaves so off we went!  And I have to say, it was REALLY easy getting great shots of Dane!  Sometimes people can tend to be a little shy and awkward when they are trying to pose, but it seemed to come very easy to him so it made my job cake!!  :)

Ashli's Senior Session

What a gorgeous Fall day!!!  It started out looking like it might be a little rainy and freezing.  But it turned out to be great!  It was kinda chilly for the first half, but Ashli didn't look cold in a single photo! And instead of chattering teeth, she had a warm, natural smile the whole time!!  Plus we definitely got some fantastic, colorful leaves in her portraits!

Noel's Senior Session

Whew!  Colder weather is definitely upon us!!  But the cold Fall wind didn't keep us from having a lot of fun!!  Not only does Noel do a really good job posing, she also has a GREAT laugh!  I can say that for sure since we were laughing pretty much the whole time.  And another bonus....she's a real trooper when it comes to looking comfy even when she's freezing!!  :)

Baby Quinn is 3 months old!

Today I had the pleasure of meeting a very handsome little guy named Quinn.  He belongs to Erica (a gal that I went to middle & high school with) and her husband, Patrick.  They were blessed with little Quinn's arrival just 3 short months ago and already he has grown and changed soooo much!  Look at all that hair!  One thing is for sure, he is absolutely adorable!!  :)  Congratulations!

Lauren's Senior Session

It seems that the Senior ladies I photograph almost always tell me that they "can't do a good serious face" or they "don't know  how to pose"....and then just a few minutes into the session it becomes totally obvious that they actually CAN!!  :)  Lauren is a perfect example of the "can't do serious" girl.......and are you KIDDING ME??  :)  She looks amazing, even despite the fact that we had a lot of wind to deal with!!

Another DIRTY session

Once again I found myself walking around knee-deep in a creek for a "Trash the Dress" session....and it was SO much fun!!!  This time I got to photograph a good friend of mine.  We hit the local thrift store and found her red dress for 10 bucks!  After seeing the photos, it was definitely money well spent!!  The other dress is actually her own wedding gown.  We even decided that this could be the newest stress-relief therapy!!  You look gorgeous, girl!!  :)
