Grace's Senior Session

Grace was so much fun to work with!! We had one of the coldest days of the year so far and the wind was working against us, but we were able to get lots of GREAT photos of Grace, despite the conditions! Grace has movie star hair, a gorgeous smile, and a personality to match!!

Family Self Portrait! :)

Being the photographer who takes a portrait of your family and at the same time being part of the family getting the portrait can be a little difficult to do. But, we did the best we could and here it is...our '08 Family Portrait. We had to rush because it was getting late in the evening and we were quickly losing daylight. Somehow we managed to get this done in under 15 minutes!!! I couldn't believe it!

It was time for a new photo of me so...I gave in.

I have mentioned before that I don't like having my photo taken (imagine that!) but since I like to update my website photo from time to time, I enlisted my husband and my mom to do the job. With a little instruction from me, I was able to help them get what I wanted. So, here are a few that I actually liked...and if you know me, then you know it's rare for me to like a photo of myself! :) Oh, and there's one of me and my fantastic assistant (aka my mom) at the bottom! Let me know what you think! -Amanda

Kyan's 1yr Portraits

Leah & Amanda knew they wanted to have their son's 1yr portraits done...but they didn't want that department store studio look. So we took Kyan to a local park and let him enjoy a beautiful fall day! And he LOVED it....in the most adorable way!! And then of course we snuck in some family portraits while we were. Who could resist when the leaves were so colorful. What a cute little family! Congratulations on that beautiful boy of yours!!

Brooke's Senior Session

So, I have decided that I am SPOILED! I just keep getting to work with all the best Seniors! I love it! Brooke was a little quiet at first, but she did end up coming out of her shell and showing us her fantastic personality! But she was a great subject even from the beginning...another gal that poses with ease and looks great while she does it! :)

Barnes Family Portraits

Wow! I never would have thought that all these years later I'd be doing Senior Portraits for my high school English teacher and her family! That's one of the great things about this job...you just never know what to expect next. This family was so great to work with...no muss, no fuss...just an easy going bunch! Thanks Barnes Family!! :)

Cassie's Senior Session

Cassie's session was so SMOOTH!!! That's the first word that comes to mind! Cassie was so easy to work with and she required very little direction from me to find just the right pose. She was great at taking cues and then making each pose comfortable and natural for her! I love that!! You go girl! ;)

Brad's Senior Session

Brad and his mom were so much fun!! And to make it even more fun...my assistant (aka my mom) had known Brad's mom for years so we were all instantly laughing and having a good time. And what an easy guy to work with, too!
