Calin's Senior Session

This morning's session started off with perfect weather...lightly overcast with a soft breeze.  But it wasn't long before it was VERY hot and the sun was beating down.  And despite the uncomfortable heat, we didn't let that slow us down!!  Calin was SO friendly and easy to just chat away with!  :)  And her mom had me cracking up with the most random things!!  And of course, Calin's boyfriend couldn't have been any sweeter if he tried!  What a great bunch to hang out with today!!!  Thanks for putting up with the heat today, guys!!  :)

Chelsea & CJ - Sibling Session

This sibling session was so fun!!!  :)  But I knew it would be going in.  Chelsea was one of my previous Seniors so I knew she could work it.  And that whole family is fun and outgoing so CJ didn't have any trouble stepping up to the plate either!!  And this brother/sister pair works SO well together....I didn't realize that teenage siblings could get along that well!!

Meagan's Senior Session

What a trooper!!!!  :)  Meagan's Session started on Saturday...and ended on Sunday!  That's because after getting a little start on her session Saturday morning, the rain started in on us.  Just a light sprinkle at first and then heavier.  So, we did what we could and then went back for round two the next day.  And we definitely had completely different weather....sunshine and lots of wind!!  LOL  But this gal was great though it all!

She's almost One!

In just a few weeks, my niece will be one year old!  It seems like just yesterday I was taking pictures of a tiny, brand new baby girl.  And now look how big she is!!  But she's still one of my favorite models!!

Cory's Senior Session

Warm weather is definitely here!!  And today was a HOT one!  But despite the heat & humidity, Cory was able to stay "cool" and she looks FANTASTIC in her portraits!!  She started out being very nervous and unsure....but it wasn't long at all before she was posing perfectly!!  Of course I knew she could do it!  Great job, Cory!!  :)

Jessica's Senior Spokesmodel Session

One of the best parts of my job is getting to meet so many fantastic people!!  Jessica and her mom were a great example of that!  I haven't laughed so much on a session in a while....but I laughed enough with Jessica and her mom to last me for a long time!!  :)  They were SO easy to get along with and they both seem to share my crazy sense of humor.  And then as if that weren't enough...Jessica was AMAZING in front of the camera....just take a look!!

What an inspiration!!!

Recently I was contacted by a young man that wanted to have a special portrait created as a surprise for his mom. She has been battling breast cancer and has finally won!  Having had her very last radiation treatment today, her family presented her with this portrait to show her just how special she is to them....and how she has been their hero through such a difficult situation.  I was very touched to be a part of this special surprise and lucky to have been inspired by such a thoughtful gesture.  Congratulations to the Hall family and my sincerest wishes for continued health and happiness for you!!

Taylor's Senior Spokesmodel Session

Today was another fun adventure!!  And Taylor had a whole crew with her so we even had an audience watching her do her thing!  :)  And she definitely did a great job!  She was another one of those girls who didn't think she was going to look good, but once she sees her photos she will see how wrong she was!  Great job, Taylor!

Happy Mother's Day!!!

Having always known that I would someday be a mother, I am elated to finally get to be a part of Mother's Day!!  Now that we are officially "expecting" our precious first child, Mother's Day has a whole deeper meaning for me.  And I also feel a much stronger need to share my happy wishes with all the other mothers out there....hope you all have a magnificent Mother's Day!!  You deserve it!   :)

Kristen's Senior Spokesmodel Session

Today we headed to Lafayette for Kristen's Spokesmodel session. Kristen was up for going pretty much anywhere and we found some great places for photos.  And even though we got hit with a little bit of rain toward the very end, overall the day provided perfect weather and lighting for her session!!  :)

Olivia's Senior Spokesmodel Session

Whew!!  My cheeks still hurt from laughing so much today!!  :)  It was windy and raining all day but that didn't even matter because we still had so much fun!  Olivia is the younger sister of a fantastic former senior of mine (she also came along with us) so I knew we would have a lot of fun!!  We headed to the downtown Indy area and walked all over looking for awesome (and dry) spots.  Olivia was a breeze to photograph and talk about photogenic...that must be a trait that just runs in their family!!  Thanks, Olivia and Ariel for a VERY fun day!

Kiersten's Senior Spokesmodel Session

Today's session in a nutshell.....WINDY!!  Actually it was probably one of the most windy days that I've ever had for a session.  So the battle was on all day -- us against the wind.  And many times the wind was victorious.  But we did win our fair share of those battles and Kiersten was such a champ all day!!!!  She never once complained or gave up.  Nope...she just kept right on going, smiling and laughing the whole time!!  LOVE that!!  :)

Elissa's Senior Spokesmodel Session

Wow!!  What a gorgeous day!!  What better subject to photograph than a gorgeous gal!  :)  Elissa was a little quiet and shy in the beginning but she loosened up and posed for some amazing Senior Portraits!!  She is also a Spokesmodel for the Class of 2011!!  And by the way, I'm really jealous of her super shiny hair!!  :)
