Kara's Senior Spokesmodel Session

Okay so, I am LOVING my job!!!!  I am sooooo spoiled when it comes to the people I get to photograph.  They are all GORGEOUS!!  And today was no exception!!  Kara is really gorgeous and knows how to show it off!!  And I swear that there are some short gals out there that could definitely do some modeling!!  Kara was great at working with the windy conditions instead of letting it control her poses.  She was basically a rockstar.  And, she is also one of my 2011 Senior Spokesmodels!  :)

  

Leah's Senior Session

Wow!  The weather on Leah's session day definitely did not feel like Spring!  But despite the windy, cold, rainy conditions...Leah endured it like a champ!  And I am convinced that her hair is actually rain proof because, while I was looking like a wet mess by the end, she was still looking great!!  :)  Congratulations on your upcoming 2010 graduation, Leah!

Class of 2011....here we go!!! Starting with Erica!!

Today kicks off my new season of Seniors....the Class of 2011 Seniors!!!  And what a great gal to start with!!  Erica was soooo easy going and was up for going anyplace I wanted to go (and so was her mom!!)....so we went everywhere!!  What a fun day!!  And that's not all....Erica is one of my 2011 Senior Spokesmodels so I am sure she'll be working it for me this summer!!  Thanks, Erica!!

~ Baby Girl A.~ Indianapolis area Newborn Photography

I recently had the pleasure of photographing this little newborn that belongs to a friend of mine from grad school and her husband.  This little gal was a doll!  And while I would LOVE to be able to post more images of her, they informed me that they really didn't want her face on the internet, due to dad's line of work.  And so with that, here is a photo of her little piggies.  :)  Congrats A. Family!!

So, when things are slow because of the cold weather...I like to go back and revisit some the work I've done over the last year.  In the process of doing so, I have given some of my favorites a great color boost.  Here is just one photo that has new life and LOTS of color!  Makes me so glad that warmer weather is just around the corner!

7 months already!!

It really is crazy how fast time goes by.  Little Jayla is already 7 months old and doing a fantastic job of sitting up on her own now!  So I know her parents are so proud of her!  And then there is, of course, the cuteness factor.  Off the charts!!

Baby Maksim has arrived!

Finally!!  He was a little late getting here but worth the wait for his anxious and excited parents.  :)  His mommy, Dannielle, has been a friend of mine since college and she was also the best realtor ever for my husband and me.  And now that she and her hubby George have this new little blessing, I was so happy to be able to create some adorable newborn portraits for them!  Congratulations to the new mommy and daddy of little Maksim and many wishes for lots of laughter and fun memories to be made!

Cortney's Senior Session

Today's session was a first for sure.  From time to time I work with people that are quiet or shy and that is perfectly okay.  But Cortney barely spoke at all....not because she was too shy, but because the poor gal has laryngitis and has pretty much no voice left at all!!  But luckily her mom came along and helped do some of the talking for her, so we managed just fine.  :)  What a sweet mother & daughter team they are, too!  I hope Cortney's voice is back soon so I can hear what she thinks of her portraits!  :)

So I recently picked up a few items to make my baby portraits even cuter and more colorful.  And of course, I had to have my niece do a little modeling for me.  She didn't last too long before she got a little cranky, but it doesn't take very long to get a gorgeous shot of her.

Nicole's Senior Session

What a gorgeous day for a portrait session!!  Nicole definitely got lucky with the weather....sunny and almost 70 degrees!  And not only was the day perfect, but Nicole was also very photogenic and really easy to work with.  What a fun, laid back gal!  I am seriously spoiled when it comes to my Seniors!!  I only get the best ones!!
