This handsome guy is six months old, and though he may be tiny in size....he is so big in personality! What a treat to get to see this sweet family again and watch this little guy showing off all the fancy new tricks that come with the sitter milestone!

This beautiful baby girl is already 6 months old!  It's such a crazy thing for me to see my previous newborn clients come in for milestone sessions because, from my perspective, it feels like so little time has passed and they are already growing and changing so much!  Although, it's true....it does happen all too quickly.  Oh how they grow!

This handsome little man was really just as sweet as could be.  He was just 9 days old for his session and just near 7 lbs.  And he was absolutely content and calm the whole time!  For a good while, he slept like an adorable little log.  Then he finally woke up and was ready to eat...and after that, he was on a mission to keep those bright eyes wide open.  And that's exactly what he did!  Haha!  Despite being awake, he never got even a little bit fussy about it.  It was almost like he was just checking everything out and hoping to participate.  It may have meant we had to skip a couple of sleepy poses, but he is so cute that it just didn't matter.   And his family was beyond sweet.  So happy to have met them!  Oh wait...can we just talk about his hair for a minute!!  TOO CUTE!

What a sweet little pumpkin she is!  This little gal came in for her session at just eight days old.  Her mommy and daddy were clearly head over heals in love with her.  It's always so fun for me to get to meet first time new moms and dads.  Just seeing the pride on their face when they talk about their sweet new babe is pretty special.  It's definitely an honor to get to share in that special time when they are getting settled into this new stage of going from a couple to a family.  Just look at this beautiful little girl!!

Happy Birthday,  Josie!!  What a fun year it has been for me to get to photograph you!  I can't believe that this sweet gal is already a year old!  She is just such a beautiful little being, inside and out.  I have thoroughly enjoyed all my sessions with her and her family.  What a special bunch they are!!

Okay, someone needs to slow this little man down!  He is going to be running through his house before his parents know what hit them!  Haha!  He is just seven months old and is in a hurry to get as mobile as he can!  And he is quite the little charmer with that adorable grin and those big, brown eyes.  His parents are going to have their work cut out for them just keeping all the girls from chasing him.  And by the way, have you ever seen a cuter Santa??  I don't think so!

Oh my!  How is it possible that this little bug is already six months old??  This is my sweet little niece, Kate.  She has Down Syndrome, but apparently no one informed her.  Her family hears often that they should not expect her to do this and that, but little Kate doesn't listen.  Instead, she just keeps growing and developing and hitting those milestones left and right!  Apparently it takes a little more than that to slow her down!  Every time I get to see her, she makes me laugh and she is always happy to see visitors.  It is going to be so much fun to keep watching her grow over the years and to see her just keep proving people wrong.  One thing is for sure, she is not a syndrome.  She is a delightful, beautiful, intelligent, funny, sweet baby girl with a bright, sunny future ahead of her!  :)

This sweet girl is about ten months old and is using those adorably chunky legs to stand up now.  And it's WAY too cute!  And, oh my, those big brown eyes are so sweet.  I'm thinking that one day she'll be able to give quite the sad puppy face with those big browns, if ever she does not get what she wants.  She is such a doll!  Gorgeous just like her mommy!

Sooooo sweet, this one!!  I have a special affection for those babies with the chubby, squishy cheeks, as both of my babies had them.  And this little bundle has some gorgeous chunky cheeks, too!  :)  And this session was a first for me in that it was the first time ever that I had a newborn here for their session, while also having my own brand new baby at home, too!  My own baby was born just three days prior to this session.  And admittedly, I had a little worry that I might be too distracted by thinking about my own baby to really focus on another baby.  But this little beauty kept my attention without any problems!  She was 5 days old and just beautiful and sweet and snuggly.  And as a bonus, her big sister was just as sweet!  And her parents were clearly in love with her and loved getting to see working her little model magic.  Her nursery colors are pink, navy, and gray.....so we wanted to create a portrait that would work well using those colors.  I love how those turned out!!  And really, I just loved her in every color.  What a gorgeous baby she is!

Sessions around the 6 month milestone are always fun!  Babies are so much more expressive and interactive.  And it's so fun to watch them being so happy to be sitting up.  Love those sessions!!  Look at this beautiful little face!  This little gal came in for her sitting milestone and she did a great job!!  Her eyes are STUNNING!!  And to have eye lashes like hers....wow!!!

Baby Violet | { Brownsburg Newborn Photographer } { Indianapolis Newborn Photographer }

Oh my heart....it may just explode any minute now.  This sweet little face belongs to me!!  Meet the newest tiny (not so tiny) addition to our family.  This gorgeous little gal is miss Violet Emerson and she was 8 lbs 9 oz of squishy perfection at birth.  And as you can see, she hasn't missed a meal since then!  :)  We are sooooo blessed and excited to finally have her in our arms.  She is VERY brand new at just two days old here.  And this is a perfect example of why it's important to get newborn portraits done as early as possible.  This setup took about five minutes or less because she is so new and is still sleeping like a little log.  I am so in love with her and so is her daddy and her big sister.  What a sweet little babe she is.  Oh, and this pot that she is sitting in belonged to my beloved grandma.  She made her amazing homemade noodles in it every year for Thanksgiving.  I photographed my oldest in it when she was born so I definitely wanted to be sure and photograph our newest little addition in it, as well.  And I LOVE how it turned out.

And here she is again at 6 days old....it's amazing to me how much she has changed since I first saw her.  She is so beautiful and I am so in love.

And here is another at one week old.  Our oldest just turned four and she is already the world's best big sister.  :)
