Nathaniel's Senior Session
Nathaniel's session was definitely a memorable one for me. I think his session set the record for the number of the things that could possibly go wrong!!! It started with me unknowingly sitting right on an ant hill and being completely covered in TONS of tiny biting ants. If you know me well, you know that I am NOT a fan of bugs in any way...so that was sort of one of my nightmares coming true! Lucky for me, Nathaniel's dad was very quick to step in and try to get as many as he could off of me. Most of them were on my back and his dad described it as one of the scenes from Indiana Jones where there are tons of bugs....EEEEEEEEKKKKK!!! After I had gone in their house and shaken out my clothes (and traded shirts with my "assistant"), we all went back outside and my trusty assistant stepped on and crushed my very favorite pair of sunglasses! :( Then, as we moved from location to location, my equipment starting acting up....first, one of my camera lenses started making very strange sounds and the glass inside was shaking....then my lighting equipment decided it did not want to work at all anymore. So, needless to say, it was a challenge!! And despite all of the crazy things that happened, we somehow still managed to get really amazing shots of Nathaniel. And he was such a good sport the whole time, even when his friends had let him know they were at his house waiting for him to get home for some fun they had planned that evening. Hopefully seeing his portraits will make all that craziness worth it for him! :)

Brody's Senior Spokesmodel Session
I consider myself to be pretty spoiled when it comes to the kind of gals I usually get to work with...gorgeous and very photogenic. And once in a while, I get the chance to photograph a GUY who can really work it. Last week's session was one of those times for sure! Brody was extremely good at posing himself and he looked like a model in every shot! He also brought along a friend to help him...and she just happens to be one of my favorite former seniors....so talk about a fun session for me!! Brody is also one my of Class of 2012 Spokesmodels and I am thrilled about that! :)

Kourtney's Senior Spokesmodel Session
Wow!! Tall, blonde, and beautiful! And her blue eyes are just stunning! Kourtney is the cousin of one of my former seniors which I knew was a good sign! And she definitely did the family proud! She obviously has the figure of a model and she did a fantastic job of working it! Check her out! :)

Cara's Senior Session
Today's session was a blast!! Cara is the younger sister of one of my former seniors...so I already knew that we would have fun. But I was completely unprepared for her witty sense of humor!! She really had me laughing the whole time! I love people that aren't afraid to be silly and enjoy themselves and Cara is definitely one of those people!! And did I forget to mention how pretty she is?? See for yourself!!

Emily's Senior Spokesmodel Session
What a beautiful day for a session!! Although it was a bit windy for my liking, we still managed to get lots of fantastic images! Emily was really good at working with the wind and making every pose look great! She and her mom were so sweet and fun to work with! I am one lucky photographer, that's for sure!! Check out one of my favorite images from Emily's session!

Katelyn's Senior Session
Today was, in a word,.....WINDY!!!! It was definitely not the ideal day for an outdoor portrait session, but of course...we went anyway. And as usual, my senior completely rocked it!! I am starting to think there is an unlimited supply of ridiculously gorgeous high school gals in this area!!! This gal's hair was bea-u-tif-ul!!! And she is way past being photogenic, take a look!!

Baby girl is getting so big!
It is just an amazing thing to watch your baby grow. Until becoming a mother myself, I had no idea just how incredible the first year of life really is....and being able to watch it unfold right before your eyes is something you just can't understand until you become a parent. Our little one is a little over five months old now and she is such a blessing in our lives.

Chelsea's Senior Spokesmodel session
Okay, so I did not expect it to be THIS cold at the end of March...but it was freezing cold and windy today! Despite the less than desirable conditions though, this session was awesome!! Chelsea is one of our 2012 Senior Spokesmodels and I am so glad!! She was pretty quiet and a little nervous at the beginning, but she brought her friend along and she helped Chelsea relax and let loose. And boy did it work!! Chelsea looks AMAZING in her portraits...very model-y!! Apparently I'm gonna get all the gals with pretty eyes this year because she also has gorgeous eyes...and the longest lashes ever! We all had so much fun!! Sessions like this are my absolute favorite!!!

Riley's Senior Spokesmodel session
This year we decided to limit our Spokesmodel spots to just five....and Riley is one of those five. And after today's session, I definitely think she has the "model" part down!! She has gorgeous green eyes and it seems like every time she moves it's another pose! She was so easy to work with that I just kept shooting and shooting for hours!!! Hopefully she wasn't starving to death when she finally got home! LOL I am sure that Riley is going to do a fantastic job representing A.Bilger photography and I hope she'll be sending lots of her friends to us!

Aspen's Senior Session
Woohoo!! My long winter hibernation is over!! Spring is just around the corner and my calendar is buzzing with Senior sessions! I always enjoy the winter and all the time I have to relax...but toward the end of it I'm always anxious to get back to work! And what a way to kick off the year!! First of all, Aspen has fantastic style!! I just loved her great haircut and her blue eyes are insane. Add to that her ability to just work it and you have a REALLY fun session! Her portraits are amazing!

Growing like a weed!! :)
Our sweet baby girl is such a bundle of joy to us every single day! Three months old now and she is just precious. It seems like she learns something new every day and she's growing so fast it's just amazing. There is nothing better in the world to wake up to than her sweet little smiling face!

Has it been 3 months already??
It's just amazing how quickly babies grow and change in the first weeks and months of life. Our sweet little girl seems to change by the minute some days, always exploring the world around her and learning something new. She's definitely picking up on our daily routines, which includes her nightly bath, book, and bottle. She was looking particularly cute the other night while she was waiting to get in the bath so I had to snap a photo! She has the most adorable little dimple! :)

What a precious moment!!
The sweetest sound on earth, at least in my opinion, is the sound of a baby laughing. And my husband and I have been so excited the last couple of days since our sweet little baby girl finally shared her very first laugh with us! And of course we have been trying since then to get her to do it again....well today I got lucky and she laughed at me when I was making noises by blowing on her feet. I was quick to grab the video camera and snag a few seconds of that precious sound!!
(I wish the camera had been more centered but I was holding it myself and still playing with her so I'm lucky she's even on the screen! LOL)
