Rachel's Senior Session

Okay, so I know I'm always bragging about what gorgeous gals I get to work with....but seriously, it's TRUE!!!  Rachel is stunning to the point that it's just ridiculous!!  I mean, even in the wind she looks perfect.  I actually kinda hate her!  LOL  And as hard as it was to walk around with her all day looking so gorgeous, it was a fantastic session because the girl is physically incapable of looking less than beautiful in a photo!!  Oh and did I mentioned that it was almost 100 degrees outside and this gal didn't complain even once???  Can someone tell me where these gals keep coming from??  So needless to say, my job was sooooo easy!!   :)

Adam's Senior Session

Today's session with Adam was great, as expected!  I worked with his older brother a couple years ago so I already knew Adam would be fun to work with...and he was!  He is very interested in drama and has his own unique sense of style, so we definitely used that information to choose locations to suit him.  We got very lucky with great weather.  And then of course there was the fact that Adam did a great job!  ;)

Courtney's Senior Session

Today's session with Courtney was really fun!  She and her boyfriend (he came along to help us out) seemed to be really comfy with us from the very start...which is, of course, always a good thing!  And Courtney was definitely a gal with a few ideas of her own, so we took some of those ideas and combined them with my style and came up with some great shots!  And although this was another session where we sacrificed our bodies to the mosquitos, I think it was worth it!!

Happy Birthday, Hubby!! :)

So, my husband's birthday is this month and I couldn't figure out what in the world to get him.  And then for some reason I decided this was it.....he needed a moped!  LOL  And you're probably wondering why I would want to get him a moped since he's in his thirties and drives a car.  Well, it's pretty simple...it's because he has never, ever been on a moped or anything like that.  Crazy, right??  So, I decided it would be very fun (and hilarious) to have the chance to see him buzz down the road on a scooter!!  I was right....VERY funny!  :)  Here he is on his "hog."  Looking good, Honey!

Katelyn's Senior Session - Part TWO!

Remember how I mentioned that there was a hail storm during Katelyn's session??  Well, even though it ended up working out great...we did lose some time to the storm and weren't able to get quite finished with Katelyn's portraits.  So, we had a "Part Two" so that we could get the rest of her portraits done.  And I am SO glad it worked out that way because I am LOVING her portraits from our second session!  :)

Alec's Senior Session

Today's session was fantastic!!  :)))  I always get a little more nervous when I have to photograph a guy...mostly because I am obviously not masculine and sometimes I find it tricky to help the guys pose.  But this guy was great all on his own!!  I just gave him the basic idea of what I wanted and he would do it perfectly every time!  Now THAT is the kinda guy I like to work with!!  And of course he is very easy on the eyes, so I didn't have to work very hard to make him look good!  See for yourself!!

Katelyn's Senior Session

Okay, can we say INSANE WEATHER?!?  Wow!  We  started with blazing sun and sweltering heat... and we ended up in a crazy storm with quarter-sized hail!!  But did we give up and go home??  No way!!  We hid out and got creative in a parking garage while the storm blew over and then we went out and took advantage of the beautiful aftermath.  Love those summer storms that end with a rainbow.  And having a gal who can pose like Katelyn as my subject....well that's just icing on the cake!!  :)  Looking forward to finishing up her portraits in a second session!

Cody's Senior Session

In the middle of summer, photos sessions during the day can be SOOOO hot and exhausting.  So with Cody's session we opted for evening portraits and I am so glad we did!  Not only was it much more relaxing since we weren't dripping with sweat....it was also nice to have the night sky and lights in the background.  And of course Cody was really fun to work with.  Just look at his smile and you can see that!

Emily & Kameron - Couple's Session

I had a great time with Emily and Kameron over the weekend!  They are a young couple that wanted to have some great portraits taken together and they were up for going anywhere I wanted.  So that's just what we did!  We just spent a couple hours going from place to place, chatting about all kinds of stuff.  And not only did we get lots of great shots.....I also got to learn some fun & interesting things about them!  :)  What a good match and cute couple they are!!

Calin's Senior Session

This morning's session started off with perfect weather...lightly overcast with a soft breeze.  But it wasn't long before it was VERY hot and the sun was beating down.  And despite the uncomfortable heat, we didn't let that slow us down!!  Calin was SO friendly and easy to just chat away with!  :)  And her mom had me cracking up with the most random things!!  And of course, Calin's boyfriend couldn't have been any sweeter if he tried!  What a great bunch to hang out with today!!!  Thanks for putting up with the heat today, guys!!  :)

Chelsea & CJ - Sibling Session

This sibling session was so fun!!!  :)  But I knew it would be going in.  Chelsea was one of my previous Seniors so I knew she could work it.  And that whole family is fun and outgoing so CJ didn't have any trouble stepping up to the plate either!!  And this brother/sister pair works SO well together....I didn't realize that teenage siblings could get along that well!!

Meagan's Senior Session

What a trooper!!!!  :)  Meagan's Session started on Saturday...and ended on Sunday!  That's because after getting a little start on her session Saturday morning, the rain started in on us.  Just a light sprinkle at first and then heavier.  So, we did what we could and then went back for round two the next day.  And we definitely had completely different weather....sunshine and lots of wind!!  LOL  But this gal was great though it all!

She's almost One!

In just a few weeks, my niece will be one year old!  It seems like just yesterday I was taking pictures of a tiny, brand new baby girl.  And now look how big she is!!  But she's still one of my favorite models!!
