A baby girl is born on Father's Day!!

Congratulations to my brother and his wife on their precious new bundle of joy!  This sweet baby girl was born today so I am temporarily posting a few photos I took at the hospital so that out-of-town family members can see her!  She is only 2 or 3 hours old in these photos (except in the first photo where she is a couple days old).  We were all AMAZED at how much hair she has!!  I have never, ever seen a baby born with so much hair!

A Baby Girl is coming soon!

My brother and his wife are happily expecting their second child, a baby girl.....and she should be here any day now!!  So, I had to get a quick photo of Laura before the pregnancy ends and new motherhood begins.  I can't wait to meet this brand new little person...and to take her picture, of course!!  Congratulations, you guys!!

Abby's Senior Session

Yay!!!  Another 2010 Spokesmodel session that went SO well!  Abby is SUCH a sweet gal!  And so are her parents...they came along for the session.  And they even had some ideas for locations we could try.  Turns out, those locations were pretty great!  Abby was really easy to photograph since she was just naturally comfortable and relaxed.  Thanks so much for being a 2010 Spokesmodel, Abby!!  =)

Veronica's Senior Session

Okay...so it's becoming apparent that I'm going to have to start working out and visiting the salon more often if I'm going to keep photographing all these gorgeous people!! lol :) Veronica is definitely a gorgeous gal!! Those BLUE EYES!! I mean...are you kidding me?! And she was so fun, easy going, and up for anything...even if it meant getting attacked by lots of mosquitos!! (Sorry about that!) Anyhow, her photos are amazing!! Thanks, Veronica, for being one of my 2010 Senior Spokesmodels!!

Shelby's Senior Session

Well, we're definitely off to a fantastic start with the Class of 2010 Spokesmodels!! First Chelsea and now Shelby!! What a fun gal (and a great choice for a Spokesmodel for sure!) She was soooooo easy to work with which, as any photographer knows, makes for the best photos! And she is obviously close to her parents so they came along to share in the fun! Added bonus...they even took photos of us at work, so maybe I'll be able to post some of those too, so everyone can see us in action! =) Thank you for being a Spokesmodel, Shelby!!

Class of 2009

So, it turns out that I was REALLY lucky with the Class of 2009. EVERY single person I photographed from that class was so much fun. And they have more than fun, outgoing personalities...these Seniors are some of the most intelligent, most academic, most athletic, all-round great Seniors in their class!! These guys are GOING PLACES for sure!!!! Here are several of the group portraits that I took when some of them got together recently. And a note to the Class of 2010....you have some very big shoes to fill....hope you're up to the challenge!!! =)

Taylor's Senior Session

Taylor is going to be graduating in about a month so she needed to get her Senior Portraits done right away. Luckily I was able to fit her in the very next day after we talked! And I'm really glad we did! Taylor was really fun to work with!! She seemed to be very relaxed and if she was nervous, I couldn't tell at ALL!!! Just look at those photos!! =)

2009 Mini Marathon

So, despite the fact that I couldn't run a race to save my life...my husband CAN. In fact, he has run in the last 6 mini's and has gotten better each time! So, when I went with him this morning to watch him take off and to cheer him on at the finish line...I decided it would be nice to have some photos of him other than the ones they take during the race. So...here's just a few. I'm so proud of him!! =)

Chelsea's Senior Session

What a WINDY day!!! I was a little concerned when we started Chelsea's session since I knew the wind would be a challenge. But as soon as we got going I quickly realized that Chelsea was a rockstar!! She (and her gorgeous hair) handled the wind beautifully!! And I definitely couldn't have asked for a more laid back gal...she was up for anything I wanted to try!! And so was her mom, which I loved!! I'm really lucky to have her as one of my Class of 2010 Spokesmodels!! Thanks, Chelsea!! =)

Ashley's Senior Session

Who said you shouldn't take photos in a little wind and rain? Not the ideal day for a portrait session, but a few sprinkles didn't stop Ashley from looking great in her Senior Portraits! She may have been a little quiet and shy in front of the camera, but you sure can't tell!
